Victoria and David Beckham must be pretty proud parents right about now. Last night, the famous couple joined their second-eldest son, 12-year-old Romeo Beckham, for the premiere screening of his brand new Burberry ad From London With Love, where the pair were visibly over-the-moon for him. The star-studded bash, which was held at the luxury label's London flagship store, showcased the brand's first-ever big festive campaign - in which Romeo stars as an adorable (and very well dressed) matchmaker - to the world and, needless to say, it went down a storm. The four-minute long short film was directed by Burberry's very own creative director, Christopher Bailey, and features Romeo who busts a move, playfully kicks snow and orchestrates the film's unfolding love story.
Upon entering the event, Victoria and David we're more than happy to let their son take the spotlight as he walked the carpet into the venue on his own as they looked on utterly beaming with pride. Posing for a family photograph along with Christopher Bailey, you can practically see the happiness radiating from David and VB's faces. If David's grin doesn't make your heart melt, nothing will... Rocking a black overcoat from her own label and a simple shift dress, Victoria looked the epitome of chic while David too donned an all-black ensemble consisting of a black trench coat and fitted jeans.
Romeo looked older than his years as he dressed up for the occasion in a black-tie suit complete with a satin bow tie which he finished with a Burberry check scarf. Yep, this boy's got better dress-sense before he's even hit his teens than all of our other-halves put together... It's not the first time that Romeo has fronted a Burberry campaign; cast your mind back to the brand's SS13 ad and you might remember a super-cute Romeo famously starred alongside It model Cara Delevingne sporting one of the heritage label's iconic metallic trenches. Speaking of the first-of-its-kind campaign for the company, Christopher Bailey said: 'This festive campaign is a celebration of everything we love at Burberry; the trench coat, the cashmere scarf, incredible music, our British weather, and working with great and talented people.'
He then went on to shower the film's young star with praise as he revealed: 'It continues to be an utter joy working with Romeo – he has charm, style and great energy! I’m delighted that he’s the lead role in our festive campaign.' Well, that's not the kind of role you'd turn down, is it? As well as an iconic leading man, the film also enlisted the talents of British musician Ed Harcourt who, as well as writing and recording the ad's stunning score, also performed a live version of the song at the film's unveiling. Burb's certainly pulled out all the stops with this get-together. If you missed out on our sneak peak of the video yesterday, you'll definitely want to check out the film in full below to see what all the fuss is about... Seriously, why weren't we born a Beckham?!
